The Youth Budget
The Youth Budget gives you the opportunity to have your say in the budgeting of the city’s Youth Services. During the course of the year, ideas will be collected and refined locally and in several stages to give everyone the opportunity to participate.
Every year, the Youth Budget goes through the following four stages: data collection, workshops, voting and advisory board.
Data collection
A new RuutiBudjetti year will start in spring 2024. The first phase will consist of data collection to map the wishes, concerns and ideas of young people. Data will primarily be collected with the help of electronic surveys. Young people can usually contribute to data collection at school during the school day.
The Youth Budget - this is how you participate
In the Youth Budget, young people aged 12-17 get to influence the planning of the city's youth services and budget.
